Jump Start Award

With a mission to strengthen the field of dance in Connecticut, the Jump Start Award provides multi-layered support for Connecticut’s choreographers. This award program aims to support Connecticut choreographers creating original work in any dance genre and at any career level, to move forward and “jump start” their careers. Learn more here

 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Dance

An annual event which features master classes, seminars and panel discussions, was created by the CDA to honor and celebrate Dr. King’s legacy and teachings, as well as the significant contributions made by people of color to the world of dance. Learn more here

National Dance Day
