Hartford, CT – In an effort to ensure the Connecticut Dance Alliance (CDA) is more easily accessible to all, the organization is establishing Regional Chapters throughout the State of Connecticut. The next meeting of the Greater Hartford Region will be held on Thursday, April 6th from 9am – 10:30am. This meeting will be hosted by The Conference of Churches @ the224 located at 224 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT. This meeting is free and open to anyone with an interest in dance. We welcome dancers, dance educators, dance administrators, dance enthusiasts and anyone in an industry that collaborates in any way with dance. This meeting will include time for networking, a light breakfast, remarks and updates from the CDA President Barbara Ally, special performances by two of the dance companies in residence @ the224: Vivid Ballet and The Sonia Plumb Dance Company and a conversation with our host Rev. Shelley Best, President and CEO of The Conference of Churches. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the various ways the space @ “the224” is being used for dance and all things.
