My Body My Body: Say It Again
On International Day of Sexual & Reproductive Rights (Sept. 28), Babs Rawls-Ivy, producer of LoveBabzLoveTALK on 103.5 WNNH-LP, will host a restaging of JDPP’s signature dance theater performance, My Body My Body, as well as a showcase of footage and images of other works that speak to gender issues. A community conversation with the cast and advocates for women’s reproductive freedoms will follow the presentation. Free; advanced registration required.

During this historic rise of women’s voices, “Penelope’s Odyssey” tells the story of Penelope and the women in the classic epic poem Homer’s - centered around gender roles and societal norms as seen through the lens of time by entwining topics of romance, betrayal, single motherhood, arranged marriage, war and perseverance.
