THE HARTFORD DANCE COLLECTIVE (www.thedancecollective.org) provides open class, rehearsal/event space, & curates performances for female dancers and choreographers. Located in Hartford, CT, the Hartford Dance Collective shares professional contemporary dance with new audiences by providing performances in diverse locations. We aim to empower women to have a voice and an equal opportunity in dance by providing choreographic and leadership opportunities.

Welcome to our professional and inspiring creative studio. All classes are welcome to adult movers (ages 16+) of any level (unless otherwise noted). A perfect place for a dancer to train and keep in shape, a former dancer to reignite their love for movement, or a member of the community looking to practice dance movement as a form of exercise, art, or meditation. Our professional and welcoming 2,300sq foot space welcomes your next rehearsal, intimate event, master class, presentation, or anything in between! Our space includes a 15×30 foot sprung marley dance floor in the center of the room, a small stage at the front of the room, and can be adjusted to fit your particular needs.
