Nominees should possess at least two decades’ experience in their field of expertise, with five or more years sharing their legacy of work to the benefit of the Connecticut dance community. Their work will also have had a transformative effect on audiences; individual dancers (through teaching or promoting); dance ensembles (as artistic, executive or technical director); the public (through written reviews or articles); and the prosperity of the Connecticut dance scene (through advocacy or fundraising).
The Jill Henderson Award for Outstanding Services & Dedication to the Dance Community as a Volunteer is given annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to the Connecticut dance community through their time, talents and service.
