Guest speaker: Tim Robinson, Director of Institutional Advancement for the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation (New York) 

In addition to his current work with the Paul Taylor Foundation, Tim has worked in various management roles with creative companies including Cirque du Soleil, The Joffrey Ballet, and Livent, as well as presenting organizations such as The Grant Park Music Festival (Chicago), The Auditorium Theatre (Chicago) and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts (Las Vegas). He has also been involved with producing large-scale projects spanning marathons to corporate meetings to municipal festival events. 

Following presentation there will be an opportunity for Q&A, networking and sharing your plans for 2019/20, and learning about CDA upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you!

In this 90-minute session, Chelsea O’Donnell from Journey Communications LLC will show you how to build a practical plan for your dance business. This session is about practicality – turning a long-term goal into weekly tasks that will get you to where you want to be. 

If you’re just starting out, this session will help you to outline your goals and create a plan of attack to get your dance business on the fast track. If you’re a seasoned dance business owner, this is a great chance to “take stock” and ensure that the things you’re doing are moving you in the right direction.
